The Stock module provides up-to-date information about the substances that are in stock or in use. You can also register the quantity, place and shelf-life of the substances here. Other data on items such as minimum and maximum inventory and order level are also easy to keep in SOFOS 360®. The current stock information is also the basis for compiling lists and registration cards for example your BHV plan.

In addition to the stock of substances, the stock of other items can also be tracked in this module such as gas cylinders, inspection and maintenance articles and other items. This does not require the use of a double stock system.

By awarding a unique number to each package, you can follow such a package, also called 'Pot', on its way through the organization.

Using the Inventory module, you can answer questions such as:

• How much of each article is still present in the organization?
• In which places is a certain article located within the organization?
• When have the articles entered the organization and how long are they still tenable (substances)?
• How many items does a particular department, user, or cost center use on an annual basis?

The Stock module makes it possible for you to carry out stock records, where all the items can be registered. Additional functions for chemicals and in particular gas cylinders have been added to comply with the required registration requirements. In order to avoid a double stock system, it is possible to register non-chemicals within this module as well. This way you can provide up-to-date information about the items that are in stock or in use. Apart from the quantity, you can also register the place (location), shelf-life date, minimum and maximum inventory of the items.

If you also have the Orders module, the application can automatically indicate which items should be ordered.
